Knowbie is an education platform and mobile app designed to deepen a server’s knowledge of the characteristics and cultures of wines, spirits, beers and beverages. Knowbie’s digital course material helps wait staff delight customers which in turn boosts a restaurant’s prestige.

Knowbie’s out-of-the-gate success led to rapidly growing their course offerings. They had quickly arrived at the moment when managing content manually was inefficient. To future-proof the Knowbie experience (for teacher and student) Chapeau! recommended a headless CMS. Our implementation freed non-technical staff at Knowbie to easily create and manage branded course content (including images and video) and evolve an engaging (gamified) community experience around Knowbie. With our partnership Knowbie continues to deepen its curriculum, help hospitality, and educate wait staff who are rewarded for their highly valued expertise.
